Description

Thanks to the double knit fabric (outside 100% merino, inside 100% bamboo), it is possible to harness all the benefits of merino wool. The collection is designed especially for sensitive skin, for whom all types of wool are irritating. The products feature a non-itch bamboo fiber knit on the inside. The merino-bamboo knit ensures the thermal insulation, moisture transfer, and antibacterial properties of the base layer.

Merino wool is a 100% natural material obtained from merino sheep. The fibers of merino wool trap warming air between the skin and the outer layer. The merino-bamboo knit efficiently wicks moisture away from the skin. Thanks to its antibacterial property, airing the garment is often sufficient to refresh it. The merino wool used by North Outdoor is ethically produced mulesing-free wool.

The softness of merino wool is determined by the thickness of its fibers, measured in microns. The smaller the micron count, the softer the feel of the merino wool product.

Unlike many other merino wool brands, we use only the finest merino wool fibers in our products. This way, we can guarantee that our merino wool garments provide unbeatable comfort and a luxuriously soft feel that lasts over time.

Care Instructions

Product Care
Take gentle care of your merino wool garment – this will also extend its lifespan!

1. Fresh air is the best friend of merino wool! Air your garment regularly and wash only when necessary. Use wool detergent and a delicate wash program at 30 degrees with the gentlest spin cycle, and remember to turn the product inside out during washing.
2. Avoid tumble drying, as it can damage the delicate merino wool fibers. Instead of tumble drying, shape the merino garment while damp and dry it flat, for example on top of a towel.
3. If needed, you can steam or iron the merino garment using one dot (maximum 110 °C).
