Knit thickness
When choosing knitwear, it’s important to consider both the thickness of the fabric and its intended use. Every knit and knitted fabric is unique, and each person may experience the warmth of the knit differently. This perception is influenced by the density, airiness, and fit of the garment. To make your decision easier, we’ve categorized our knitwear into three thickness levels: lightweight, midweight, and heavyweight.
Keep in mind that even thicker knits can feel pleasantly cool indoors if they have a looser fit and an open-knit texture. Conversely, a thinner knit can feel quite warm if it has a snug fit and a denser fabric structure.

This variation is influenced by minor differences in the strength of different colors. While you may not notice much difference in the thickness of the knit, these subtle variations can affect the knitting process, making each piece unique.
