Merino Club FAQ
How can I join the Merino Club?
Joining is quick and easy! You can join here. It's free to join and you will be automatically registered to receive emails with, among other things, advance access to discount sales for loyal customers. If you already have a customer account on our online store, you're already registered for our rewards programme, so all you have to do is log in and start earning points for the purchases you make! Please note that subscribing to our newsletter does not automatically link you to our loyalty programme.
I have already created an account with the online store. Do I need to create an account again to join the loyalty programme?
We'll take care of that for you! All customers with an active account are automatically enrolled in our loyalty programme.
Where can I find all my loyalty account details?
Merino Club loyalty page contains all the information about the points and benefits you have earned. We will inform you about possible loyalty events and campaigns concerning loyalty customers via email.
What benefits do I get by joining Merino Club?
You will receive 500 points in your account as soon as you join. You will accumulate more points with every purchase and you will be able to convert your points into cash benefits. In addition, as you earn points, you'll also get access to other exclusive benefits, such as early access to promotions, a birthday present and many other benefits!
How can I earn points?
Get 500 points by creating an account with Merino Club. You can also earn points by shopping, reviewing products you buy and following North Outdoor's social media accounts.
What are the Merino Club levels?
Super Merino - You can reach this level as soon as you join the Merino Club.
Extra Merino: Buy at least 300€ per year and you will be promoted to the next level and unlock new benefits.
VIP Merino: Buy at least €600 a year and you'll reach the highest level and access all the benefits for the next 12 months.
When do the Merino Club benefits I have earned expire?
When you are at Extra Merino, Super Merino or VIP Merino level, you will remain at that level for one year from the date you earned it. Making sure you're constantly interacting with our program so you can maintain your level or even move up to a new level!
How can I use my points?
Using your points is easy! Simply log in to Merino Club and scroll down the page to see how many points you have available and which points you can convert into cash rewards. Please note that when using points, you cannot use other discount codes at checkout for the same order.
When can I use my points?
Your points are valid for 12 months from the moment you earn them. Points for purchases made from your online store will be credited to your customer account within 30 days of making the purchase. When using €5 and €10 vouchers, the minimum order limit is €50. For vouchers over €20, the minimum order limit is €100. Please note that when using points, you cannot use other discount codes on the same order.
What are my points worth?
1000 points = 5€
2000 points = 10€
5000 points = 25€
10 000 points = 50€
20 000 points = 100€
Do I get points for purchases I have made before creating a loyalty account?
You will only receive points for purchases made after you have created a loyalty account. So remember to create an account and always log in before placing an order to earn points!
How do I proceed if I have an old email address or multiple email addresses and I want to link my account?
Contact Customer Service by emailing shop@northoutdoor.com and our Customer Service team will be happy to help you with the account consolidation process!
How can I recommend North Outdoor to a friend?
Easy! Sign up or log in to Merino Club and start sharing your personal discount code with your friends. They'll get €20 off their first purchase over €50 (excluding shipping and returns), and you'll be rewarded with 2,000 points within 30 days of their first purchase. The discount code is available once and cannot be combined with other discounts. We will notify you by email when we have added the points you have earned to your account.
How can I earn points for product reviews?
Once you have made a purchase from our online store, you will soon receive an email asking you to submit a review of your purchase. You will receive points in your account when you send a review via email.
Can I return my order if I have used the reward points I have collected to get a discount on my order?
You can return your order as normal. If you return the entire order, we will refund you the total amount used after the discount. The points you used to redeem the discount will also be added back to your rewards account. Please note that it may take some time for both money and points to be returned.
I have earned points/new VIP level for my last purchase, but I want to return my order. What happens to the points/level I earned?
If you use your points for a purchase and later decide to return your order, your points will be credited back to your loyalty account. For example, if you use a €10 voucher for a €100 purchase and decide to return the order, €90 will be refunded to you within 14 days of us processing your return. We will refund the money using the same payment method you used to make your purchase. The reward points you have used will automatically be returned to your loyalty account upon your return.
When do my points expire?
Your points expire after one year of inactivity. Inactivity means that you have not interacted with our program, for example, you have not redeemed points or placed any orders within a year.
Why didn't I earn points for my purchase?
Check to make sure you are logged in to your loyalty account. To earn points, you must always be logged in when you shop in our online store. If you have accidentally forgotten to log in, please contact us at shop@northoutdoor.com so we can help you add points to your account. You will also not receive points if you decide to return your purchase. When you return your order, we will automatically deduct the points you have accumulated from your loyalty account.
I should have earned points on my loyalty account, but my points balance hasn't changed. How can I verify that I have earned points on my account?
The most common reason why your points balance is not showing up correctly in your loyalty account is because there may be a delay in communication from our system. Please note that it can take several days for your points to appear in your account. However, if you feel that you have earned points but they are not showing up in your account, you can also try to fix the problem using these methods:
1. Try refreshing your browser.
Try logging out and then back into your account.
2. Check your Merino Club account under "your previous benefits" to see if any points have been added without you noticing. Under "Your past benefits" you can see the number of points you have earned, how and when they were earned and any redemptions you have made on your account.
If you still feel that your points balance is not correct, you can contact our Customer Service team at shop@northoutdoor.com and we will investigate on your behalf.
I've recommended North Outdoor to several friends, but I haven't earned any points for it. Do I need to do something else?

The friends you recommend must be first-timers, which means they make their first order through the link you share from the northoutdoor.com online store. Additionally, the recommendation must be made through the recommendation field on your personal Merino Club page.
Points will be added to your account as soon as your friend makes their first purchase on our website.
When your friend has made a purchase from our online store, you will receive an email informing you that one of your friends has made a purchase using the code you sent and that a reward has been added to your account.
Will the redeemed discount code be credited if I make a return?
If you use the discount code and return all products from that order, the points will revert to the situation before the order. If you use the discount code and return only some of the products from that order, the discount code is considered used, and the points redeemed for the discount code will not be returned after a partial return. The discount code cannot be reused.
Why can't I use larger discount codes for my order?
To redeem 5€ and 10€ discount codes, the value of your order must be at least 50€. For redeeming larger discount codes, the minimum order value is 100€.
I redeemed a discount code but didn't use it. Why have the points been deducted from my account?
When you redeem a discount code, the required amount of points for redemption is automatically deducted, even if you do not use the discount code immediately. Points are not returned for redeemed discount codes. The redeemed discount code is available for use for 6 months from the redemption of the discount code.
