The North Outdoor story began in 2011 with a love of merino wool. Since then, we have been designing clothing in Finland that combines the natural properties of merino wool with timeless style and everyday comfort.

North Outdoor originates from Oulu, where the waves of the Bothnian Bay and northern fell winds provide a changing stage for all four seasons. The unpredictable weather conditions have inspired us to design and produce products that perform in everyday life every day of the year.
All our products are designed and tested in Oulu, and our entire knitwear collection is also manufactured in Oulu from start to finish. Domestic craftsmanship and experience of northern conditions are embedded in every garment we make.
