The heavier the knit, the thicker and warmer the garment. Lightweight under 320 g/m², midweight 320–440 g/m², heavyweight over 440 g/m².
The thickness of the merino fibre. The lower the number, the softer the knit and the gentler it feels against the skin. A human hair is approx. 70 µm thick.

I usually wear size M/L, but I bought this sweater in XL so that it would be dress-like – it worked perfectly, in a bigger size the Varpu sweater transforms into an absolutely lovely relaxed dress! The dark green nettle colour is gorgeous.

I have worn the Varpu sweater directly on bare skin, it is wonderfully breathable and doesn't itch. My newest favourite sweater.

Product origin
We knit every garment directly to the right size. The fabric is not cut, so very little yarn is left over. The result is a soft, durable and carefully finished knit.

Material Information
The softness of merino wool is determined by the thickness of its fibers, measured in microns. The smaller the micron count, the softer the feel of the merino wool product.
Unlike many other merino wool brands, we use only the finest merino wool fibers in our products. This way, we can guarantee that our merino wool garments provide unbeatable comfort and a luxuriously soft feel that lasts over time.
