Description

The Riihi mittens are made in North Outdoor's own knitting mill in Oulu from extremely high-quality, mulesing-free 100% merino wool. The well-fitting mittens keep hands warm during the cold season, and their comfort is enhanced by the ribbed cuff. The soft Riihi mittens are breathable and insulating, maintaining their shape both in use and after washing. They are suitable for wearing on their own or under thicker gloves.

The softness of merino wool is determined by the thickness of its fibers, measured in microns. The smaller the micron count, the softer the feel of the merino wool product.

Unlike many other merino wool brands, we use only the finest merino wool fibers in our products. This way, we can guarantee that our merino wool garments provide unbeatable comfort and a luxuriously soft feel that lasts over time.

Care Instructions

Product Care
Take gentle care of your merino wool garment – this will also extend its lifespan!

1. Fresh air is the best friend of merino wool! Air your garment regularly and wash only when necessary. Use wool detergent and a delicate wash program at 30 degrees with the gentlest spin cycle, and remember to turn the product inside out during washing.
2. Avoid tumble drying, as it can damage the delicate merino wool fibers. Instead of tumble drying, shape the merino garment while damp and dry it flat, for example on top of a towel.
3. If needed, you can steam or iron the merino garment using one dot (maximum 110 °C).
