Kide is the lightest and most versatile knit from North Outdoor, made from 100% merino wool and designed for year-round wear and easy layering. The Kide V-neck knit is based on the same familiar and beloved Kide knit – now with a classic V-neck. The refined, exceptionally soft knit feels comfortable directly against the skin. The breathable merino wool adapts to your body temperature, keeping you comfortable on warm summer days as well as in cooler moments. Its lightweight construction makes the Kide knit the perfect travel companion: it goes with you discreetly and works in any situation. The classic V-neck adds structure to the look and makes the knit easy to pair – wear it on its own or layer it over a shirt or dress. The timeless, slightly relaxed fit and considered length make the knit work well with both trousers and skirts. Kide is a knit you can easily pack along – and wear again and again.

The softness of merino wool is determined by the thickness of its fibers, measured in microns. The smaller the micron count, the softer the feel of the merino wool product.

Unlike many other merino wool brands, we use only the finest merino wool fibers in our products. This way, we can guarantee that our merino wool garments provide unbeatable comfort and a luxuriously soft feel that lasts over time.

Care Instructions

Product Care
Take gentle care of your merino wool garment – this will also extend its lifespan!

1. Fresh air is the best friend of merino wool! Air your garment regularly and wash only when necessary. Use wool detergent and a delicate wash program at 30 degrees with the gentlest spin cycle, and remember to turn the product inside out during washing.
2. Avoid tumble drying, as it can damage the delicate merino wool fibers. Instead of tumble drying, shape the merino garment while damp and dry it flat, for example on top of a towel.
3. If needed, you can steam or iron the merino garment using one dot (maximum 110 °C).
