The double knit structure (with 100% merino on the outside and 100% bamboo on the inside) allows for the full benefits of merino wool to be utilized. This collection is specially designed for those sensitive to touch, for whom all types of wool can be irritating to the skin. The products feature a non-itchy bamboo fiber knit on the inside. The merino-bamboo knit ensures the base layer's thermal insulation, moisture transfer, and antibacterial properties.

Merino wool is a 100% natural material derived from merino sheep. The fibers of merino wool trap warm air between the skin and the outer layer. The merino-bamboo knit effectively wicks moisture away from the skin. Due to its antibacterial properties, often airing out the garment is sufficient for freshening it up. The merino wool used by North Outdoor is ethically produced and mulesing-free.

Take care of your merino wool garment with gentle handling – it will also extend the lifespan of your garment!

1. Fresh air is merino wool's best friend! Air out the garment regularly and wash only when necessary. Use wool detergent and a delicate wash at 30 degrees celsius with the lightest spin cycle, and remember to turn the garment inside out during washing.
2. Avoid tumble drying, as it can damage the delicate merino wool fibers. Instead of tumble dry, shape the merino garment when damp and dry it flat, for example, on top of a towel.
3. If needed, you can steam or iron the merino garment on low heat (maximum 110 °C).
