Thanks to the double knit structure (outer layer 100% merino, inner layer 100% bamboo), it is possible to harness all the benefits of merino wool. This collection is specifically designed for those who are sensitive to touch and find all types of wool irritating to the skin. The products feature an itch-free bamboo fiber knit on the inside. The merino-bamboo knit ensures the thermal insulation, moisture transfer, and antibacterial properties of the base layer.
Merino wool is a 100% natural material obtained from merino sheep. The fibers of merino wool trap warm air between the skin and the outer layer. The merino-bamboo knit effectively moves moisture away from the skin. Thanks to its antibacterial properties, often simply airing out the garment is sufficient to freshen it up. The merino wool used by North Outdoor is ethically produced and mulesing-free.

Take care of your merino wool garment with gentle handling – it will also extend the lifespan of your garment!

1. Fresh air is merino wool's best friend! Air out the garment regularly and wash only when necessary. Use wool detergent and a delicate wash at 30 degrees celsius with the lightest spin cycle, and remember to turn the garment inside out during washing.
2. Avoid tumble drying, as it can damage the delicate merino wool fibers. Instead of tumble dry, shape the merino garment when damp and dry it flat, for example, on top of a towel.
3. If needed, you can steam or iron the merino garment on low heat (maximum 110 °C).

By following these instructions, you can ensure that your merino wool garment stays in good condition for a long time.
