Double knit (100 % exterior Merino, inside 100 % bamboo) allows you to get the most out of merino wool. The collection is especially designed for sensitive skin in mind, especially those who find other wool fabrics irritating. The products have an unrivaled bamboo spoon knit on the inside. Merino bamboo knit guarantees the heat insulation, moisture transfer and antibacteriality.
Merino wool is a 100 % natural material that comes from merino ponds. The fibers of the merino wool bind the warming air between the skin and the layer of bark. Merino bamboo knit effectively transfers moisture away from the skin. Thanks to the antibacterial feature, just ventilation is often sufficient to refresh the garment. Merino wool used by North Outdoor is ethically produced mulesing-free wool.

The softness of merino wool is determined by the thickness of its fibers, measured in microns. The smaller the micron count, the softer the feel of the merino wool product.
Unlike many other merino wool brands, we use only the finest merino wool fibers in our products. This way, we can guarantee that our merino wool garments provide unbeatable comfort and a luxuriously soft feel that lasts over time.

Take care of your merino wool garment with gentle handling – it will also extend the lifespan of your garment!
1. Fresh air is merino wool's best friend! Air out the garment regularly and wash only when necessary. Use wool detergent and a delicate wash at 30 degrees celsius with the lightest spin cycle, and remember to turn the garment inside out during washing.
2. Avoid tumble drying, as it can damage the delicate merino wool fibers. Instead of tumble dry, shape the merino garment when damp and dry it flat, for example, on top of a towel.
3. If needed, you can steam or iron the merino garment on low heat (maximum 110 °C).
