Carefully go over the garment with the steamer. The garment can be placed flat or hung on a hanger during steaming. Be cautious of the hot steam while steaming. Steaming is a good alternative to ironing because the result is neater. Steaming differs from ironing in that the steamer does not flatten the knit. Instead, the hot steam lifts the merino wool fibers and restores them to their original shape. The result is a smooth and tidy surface. Naturally antibacterial merino wool cleans itself during steaming in the same way as during airing. After steaming, the garments feel pleasantly fresh.
