The world's best merino wool accessories will be completed in local production in North Outdoor's own knitwear in Finland. We use only the highest quality merino wool yarn, which allows the knit to maintain its shape both in use and in washing. The product is very resistant to machine washing, but you rarely need it. Antibacterial merino wool cleans itself during ventilation. All your own knit products are 100% merino wool and responsibly made. The ecology rate of the products is enhanced by the fact that its own production allows for a very low material surplus, because instead of cutting, the products are knit directly to the correct size.

Take care of your merino wool garment with gentle handling – it will also extend the lifespan of your garment!

1. Fresh air is merino wool's best friend! Air out the garment regularly and wash only when necessary. Use wool detergent and a delicate wash at 30 degrees celsius with the lightest spin cycle, and remember to turn the garment inside out during washing.
2. Avoid tumble drying, as it can damage the delicate merino wool fibers. Instead of tumble dry, shape the merino garment when damp and dry it flat, for example, on top of a towel.
3. If needed, you can steam or iron the merino garment on low heat (maximum 110 °C).
