Merino Club FAQ
How can I join the Merino Club?
Joining is fast and easy! You can join here. Joining is free, and you will be automatically registered to receive emails through which you will get, among other things, early access to sales for loyal customers. If you already have a customer account in our online store, you are already registered in our rewards program, so you can simply log in and start earning points from your purchases! Please note that subscribing to our newsletter does not automatically enroll you in our loyalty program.
I have already created an account in the online store. Do I need to create an account again to join the loyalty program?
We take care of that for you! All customers with an active account are automatically enrolled in our loyalty program.
Where can I find all the details of my loyalty account?
The Merino Club loyalty page contains all the information about the points you have earned and your benefits. We will inform you about any loyalty events and campaigns for loyal customers via email.
What benefits do I get by joining Merino Club?
You will immediately receive 500 points in your account upon joining. You can accumulate more points with every purchase and convert your collected points into monetary rewards. Additionally, by collecting points, you gain access to other exclusive benefits such as early access to sales campaigns, a birthday gift, and many other perks!
How can I earn points?
You receive 500 points by creating a Merino Club account. Additionally, you can earn points by making purchases, reviewing the products you have bought, and following North Outdoor’s social media accounts.
What are the Merino Club tiers?
Super Merino – You reach this tier immediately upon joining Merino Club.
Extra Merino: By spending at least €300 annually, you advance to the next tier and unlock new benefits.
VIP Merino: By spending at least €600 annually, you reach the highest tier and gain access to all benefits for the following 12 months.
When do the benefits of my Merino Club tier expire?
When you are at the Extra Merino, Super Merino, or VIP Merino tier, you remain at that tier for one year from the date you earned it. Make sure to stay engaged with our program continuously to maintain your tier or even advance to a higher one!
How can I redeem my points?
Redeeming points is easy! Just log in to Merino Club and scroll down the page to see how many points you have available and which points you can convert into monetary rewards. Please note that when using points, you cannot apply other discount codes to the same order at checkout.
When can I redeem my points?
Your points are valid for 12 months from the date you earn them. Points for purchases made in your online store account are credited within 30 days of the purchase. When using €5 and €10 vouchers, the minimum order amount is €50. When using vouchers over €20, the minimum order amount is €100. Please note that you cannot use other discount codes in the same order when redeeming points.
What monetary value do my points correspond to?
1000 points = €5
2000 points = €10
5000 points = €25
10,000 points = €50
20,000 points = €100
Do I earn points for purchases I made before creating my loyalty account?
You only earn points for purchases made after creating your loyalty account. So remember to create an account and log in before placing an order to earn points!
What should I do if I have an old email address or multiple email addresses and want to merge my accounts?
Contact customer service by sending an email to shop@northoutdoor.com, and our customer service team will be happy to assist you in merging accounts!
How can I recommend North Outdoor to my friend?
It's easy! Register or log in to Merino Club and start sharing your personal discount code with your friends. They will receive a €20 discount on their first purchase over €50 (excluding shipping costs and returns), and you will be rewarded with 2000 points within 30 days after they have made their first purchase. The discount code can be used once and cannot be combined with other discounts. We will notify you by email when we have added the points you earned to your account.
How can I earn points from product reviews?
After you have made a purchase from our online store, you will soon receive an email asking you to submit a review of your purchase. You will receive points in your account once you send the review by email.
Can I return my order if I have used the reward points I collected and received a discount on my order?
You can return the order as usual. When you use a promo code, the discount is distributed proportionally across the products in your shopping cart at the time of the order. The discount amount on an individual product depends on the total purchase amount and the size of the promo code.
If you return one or more products purchased using a promo code, you will receive a refund for the amount you paid for the product after the discount. The promo code or discount will not be reapplied to the products you keep after the return. The discount is always based on the original order amount.
I have earned points/a new VIP level from my previous purchase, but I want to return my order. What happens to the points/level I have earned?
If you return your order, we will deduct the points you earned from that order from your account when the return is registered. You may also lose the VIP level you earned if the total amount of your purchases after the return is less than the requirement for that level.
When do my points expire?
Your points expire after one year of inactivity. Inactivity means that you have not interacted with our program, for example, you have not redeemed points or made any orders within one year.
Why didn’t I earn points from my purchase?
Please check that you are definitely logged in to your loyalty account. To earn points, you must always be logged in when making purchases from our online store. If you accidentally forgot to log in, contact us by email at shop@northoutdoor.com so we can help add the points to your account. You also will not earn points if you decide to return your purchase. When you return an order, we automatically deduct the points earned from that order from your loyalty account.
I should have earned points on my loyalty account, but my points balance hasn’t changed. How can I verify that I have earned points on my account?
The most common reason your points balance does not display correctly on your loyalty account is a delay in our system communications. Please note that it may take several days for points to appear in your account. However, if you feel you have earned points but they do not show in your account, you can also try to fix the issue with these methods:
1. Try refreshing your browser.
Log out and then log back into your account.
2. Check the "previous benefits" section in your Merino Club account to see if points have been added without you noticing. The previous benefits section shows the number of points earned, how and when they were earned, and all point redemptions made in your account.
If you still feel that your points balance is incorrect, you can contact our customer service at shop@northoutdoor.com, and we will investigate the matter for you.
I have recommended North Outdoor to several of my friends, but I haven’t earned any points for it at all. Should I be doing something else?

The friends you recommend must be first-time customers, which means they make their first order from the northoutdoor.com online store through the link you shared. Additionally, the recommendation must be made through the referral field on your personal Merino Club page.
Points will be added to your account as soon as your friend makes their first purchase on our website.
Once your friend has made a purchase from our online store, you will receive an email notifying you that one of your friends has made a purchase using the code you sent and that a reward has been added to your account.
Will my redeemed Merino Club discount code be refunded if I make a return?
If you use a discount code redeemed with loyalty points and return all products from that order, the points will be restored to the pre-order balance. If you use the discount code and return only some of the products from that order, the discount code is considered used and the points redeemed for the discount code will not be returned after a partial return. The discount code cannot be used again.
Why can’t I use larger discount codes on my order?
To redeem €5 and €10 discount codes, your order value must be at least €50. For redeeming discount codes larger than this, the minimum order value is €100.
I redeemed a discount code but did not use it. Why have points been deducted from my account?
When you redeem a discount code, the number of points required for redemption is automatically deducted from your balance, even if you do not use the discount code immediately. Points are not refunded for redeemed discount codes. The redeemed discount code is valid for 6 months from the date of redemption.
