North Outdoor - Online Store Terms and Conditions
1. Parties to the Agreement and Application of Terms
These terms and conditions apply between North Outdoor (PYKA Oy) and its customers when the customer purchases products or services offered by North Outdoor from the northoutdoor.fi online store or otherwise in accordance with a written agreement made with North Outdoor.
The agreement for the delivery of products or services, of which these terms and conditions are a part, is valid between North Outdoor and the customer who has ordered the products or services.
If the customer is a consumer, the applicable Finnish and EU consumer protection legislation and these terms and conditions will apply. If the customer is a business or other organization, these terms and conditions will apply primarily, and secondarily, Finnish commercial law and other applicable Finnish legislation.
2. Registration and Shopping on the Online Store
Consumers and users representing business customers can register as users of the North Outdoor online store by completing the registration form and selecting a username and password. Customers can also order products without registering.
By placing an order, the user confirms that they have read, accepted, and agree to follow these terms and conditions. When acting on behalf of a company or other organization, the user guarantees they are authorized to represent that organization. The user also confirms that they are at least 18 years old.
The customer is responsible for all orders made under their username and password. The customer undertakes to ensure that their username and password are not disclosed to any unauthorized third parties.
3. Placing an Order
A binding agreement for the delivery of goods or services is concluded when North Outdoor sends the customer an order confirmation, confirming the availability and delivery time of the product or service.
North Outdoor has the right to refuse the customer’s order for a justified reason.
4. Prices and Delivery
The price of the product or service is the price visible at the time of order in the product or service details in the online store.
The details of the currently valid prices and delivery options can be found in the product-specific information.
Prices and other charges related to the agreement are stated in euros (EUR).
For sales and delivery of products to EU countries, the prices include VAT in accordance with Finnish legislation.
For sales and delivery of products outside the EU, the customer is responsible for local taxes, customs duties, and other similar costs.
North Outdoor delivers the products to the customer based on a transport agreement made with a third party. Any shipping costs are added to the order price. The shipping costs for each order are displayed in the shopping cart.
North Outdoor is not responsible for its obligations if it is unable to fulfill them due to a force majeure event.
If the customer orders multiple products, North Outdoor reserves the right to deliver the products in separate shipments.
North Outdoor is responsible for the loss or damage of the product during transportation. The responsibility transfers to the customer once the product has been delivered into the customer’s possession or to a designated pickup point.
5. Order Cancellation and Returns
A consumer has the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the order. The right of cancellation does not apply to products that have been modified according to the consumer’s wishes or personal needs.
The right to return applies only to saleable, unused, and unopened products. Please ensure the product is clean and properly handled before returning.

- Product labels must be intact, and the product must be returned in its original packaging or equivalent (does not apply to paper bag packaging).
- There is no right to return socks and underwear if the package has been opened.
If the returned product does not meet the conditions mentioned above, we reserve the right to charge for the costs of restoring the product’s sale condition. For pet hairs, we charge a minimum of 20% of the product’s sale price.
If the product has been used and the return cannot be accepted, the product will be returned to you once the return and reshipping costs have been paid.
We will only refund the price of the returned products, not the shipping costs. If your order no longer exceeds the free shipping threshold after the return, we will charge the shipping cost from the refunded amount.
Note: Matkahuolto holds packages for 7 days. Uncollected shipments will be returned to us, and we charge €10 for handling. Failure to collect is not considered a cancellation.
6. Warranty, Defect Liability, and Complaints
If the product is defective, a complaint should be made as soon as possible. The processing time is approximately 3 business days. You can file a complaint here.
If the product was purchased from a reseller, the complaint will be handled through them.
7. Payment Methods
You can pay using the following methods:

- Visa, Mastercard, American Express (Stripe)
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, Microsoft Pay (Stripe)
- Klarna
When paying via Paytrail, Paytrail Oyj (business ID: 2122839-7) appears as the payee and forwards the payment to us. Details of the payment (IP address, payment method, time) are stored. See Paytrail’s privacy policy.
When paying via Stripe or Klarna, the payment provider is Stripe or Klarna, respectively.
We will refund your payment within 14 days of processing your return. The refund will be made using the payment method you used. If the refund is not visible within 14 days, please contact us after this period. Thank you for your patience!
